After the successful launch in Chennai, today Aircel has launched its 3G services in KOLKATA and PATNA. With 3G on Aircel, you can enjoy video calling, streaming music and video, super fast data transfers and a lot more right on your 3G enabled mobile phone. To check if your handset is 3G compatible or not SMS ‘Check 3G‘ to 121 from your aircel number.
And now apart from Aircel 3G plans , company is also offering free 3G usage of upto 250MB + 50 minutes of free video calls to its customers till 27th February 2011. To avail this offer SMS ‘START 3G’ to 121 and you will be ready to enjoy free data usage and calls. After the trial period, Aircel will charge 3 paise per 10KB for data and Rs. 0.05 per second for video calls, which is relatively cheaper compared to Reliance, Tata DoCOMO and Airtel.
